KEY FEATURES OF STITCH DRILLING
This is the preferred method when the sides of the opening are too short in relation to the depth of the material being cut. The opening is formed by drilling consecutive holes to suit the dimensions.
This method allows us to create an opening of almost any shape or size.
Diamond drilling produces minimal dust, so stitch drilling using a diamond drill is the best choice for working in a sterile or clean environment such as a hospital.

WHAT IS STITCH DRILLING?
Diamond Core Drilling is the most efficient method of forming holes and openings in a multitude of hard building materials including reinforced concrete, brickwork and natural stone.
Diamond drilling can be carried out through virtually any thickness of the wall or floor. The diamond drilling system is dust free and has a relatively low noise output.
Various types of drill rigs enable drilling to be carried out in confined spaces, at angles and at inverted positions.

HOW DOES STITCH DRILLING WORK?
Stitch drilling drill a series of holes in the material in a stitch-like, overlapping pattern. Once the perimeter is drilled, the isolated central section is removed through hydraulic bursting or breaking
During drilling, the diamond bit rotates. Water runs through the driving shaft to cool the barrel and flush away the material being cut.
Factors that need to be considered during diamond drilling include:
Type of material/surface to be cut
Diameters and depths of holes to be drilled
Structural resistance of the material
