DIAMOND WIRE SAWING

KEY FEATURES OF DIAMOND WIRE SAWING

dfg

Diamond wire sawing is up to 75% faster than conventional concrete cutting methods.

Diamond wire sawing can cut almost any material, to any required depth.

Diamond wire sawing is a rapid cutting technique, making it a fast and effective way to save time on complex projects.

WHAT IS DIAMOND WIRE SAWING?

Wire sawing is used for removing large sections of concrete where the depth of the concrete prevents the use of other sawing techniques.

A multi-stranded diamond wire is fed at high speed across the concrete through a series of pulleys, driven by a powerful drive wheel.

Diamond wire sawing can be used for cutting reinforced concrete, masonry and various construction materials. It is ideal for controlled demolition work and dismantling, conversion and renovation work in building construction and civil engineering.

HOW DOES DIAMOND SAWING WORK?

A diamond-infused wire is guided through a sequence of pulleys and passed through or around the section of concrete that needs cutting and then formed into a loop. The wire loop is then pulled continuously through the concrete section until the cut is accomplished.

It is the ideal technique where there is limited access or for the removal of columns and beams.
